HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR BELT SIZE ?
Input your waist or hip size (cm) to calculate and determine your recommended belt size worn on hip or waist based on the below formula:
[Waist or Hip Size (cm) x 2] + 100cm = 590
Ideally you can measure your belt and select a size of your choice. However, you can use the formula put together above to provide you as a guidance for size recommendation.
A point to note: traditionally women tie the obi on their waist and men on their hips.
FOR THE LADY
For Example
- Mong’s waist size is 27inch (68.5cm)
- Belt size recommendation based on the calculation:
- 68.5 (cm)x2+90=137+100 = 237
- Recommended Belt Size for Mong is XS.
FOR THE GENTLEMAN
For Example
- Steve’s hip size is 37inch (93.98cm)
- Belt size recommendation based on the calculation:
- 94(cm)x2+90=188+100 = 288
